Custom work done on my 1915 Fairbanks by Vega Plectrum, Open Back Banjo
Complete as Original Open Back with some added inlays and a "Farquhar" Leather Pick case, a Leather strap, and a new "Richelieu" Oettinger Tail piece. Of course a fine thin, smooth, calf skin banjo head.
With a Silver Plated internal resonator, heel carving, new "repro" Ivoriod tuner buttons on the replacement 5 Star tuners, and a Paula Star inlay in heel cap.
Showing my Ebony arm rest with (from top to bottom) a Red Abalone Star, a White M.O.P. Star, and a Palau Star. My subtle way of having a red, white, and blue arm rest. Also showing extra M.O.P Dots in fret board at positions 15 and 19, and the "Richelieu" Oettinger Tail Piece.
Another view of the extra M.O.P Dots.
